HUMAN JOYSTICK system enables the audience to play simple on-screen videogame. Up to 500 people can interact at the same time with the game’s action shown on a big screen (e.g. in cinema). No controllers are needed – just hands raised above waving from side to side. Every pair of hands has equal influence on the final game score. No one can sit still, when hands are waving and emotions are in the air.

How does it work?
System consists of IR emitters and IR camera located below the screen. Image of the audience is constantly analyzed by the computer, which counts how many hands are directed to the left, and how many to the right. Average direction is calculated, thus enabling a movement of the game character. This system can be applied into many game schemes such as car race, water slide, ski slalom and many others.
